Bicycle Project

Age Groups: Junior, Intermediate, Senior
Objective Select a bicycle based on individual size and needs
Demonstrate safe bicycle handling and traffic navigation
Ride safely as part of a group of cyclists
Improve ability to reason, think creatively, set goals, make decisions, take initiative, solve problems, evaluate progress, work effectively in diverse teams, teach others, lead, and negotiate
Plan a bicycle trip/route
Develop bicycle maintenance and repair skills
Practice off-road etiquette
Recognize the connection between cycling and engineering, fitness, textiles, and transportation
