Poultry Project

Age Groups: All
Objective Learn to use accepted practices for mental, physical, and emotional health, and to respect yourself and others
Develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes for lifelong use
Practice leadership skills and roles, take part in community affairs, and demonstrate citizenship responsibility
Develop integrity, sportsmanship, decision making capability, and public speaking skills through participation in demonstrations, tours, judging, or exhibits
Learn and apply recommended principles of poultry production
Demonstrate a knowledge of sound breeding, feeding, and management practices
Identify breeds, types of poultry, and employ efficient marketing methods
Explore career, job and productive leisure opportunities
