Snowmobiling Project

 
Objectives: Operate a snowmobile safely and responsibly
Understand the mechanics of snowmobiles
Protect yourself in a winter environment
Learn how to protect and be a steward of the environment
Develop organizational skills, including judging and record keeping
Use life skills, including decision-making, public speaking, team work, sportsmanship, and respect of others
Learn the value and dignity of work, community service, and careers

Curriculum and training are available through the Washington State Parks Department and the Washington State Snowmobile Association by contacting Aileen Warren at flyingw@bmi.net or 509-382-3008.
