4-H has lots of Events on a Local, District and State Level

 

Demonstration Day -(February) 4-H give demonstrations on various subjects that are judged by volunteers. Winners are awarded.

Know Your Government - (February) The 4-H Know Your Government Conference serves to strengthen the connection between youth and our political and social networks through education, experience, application and inspiration. More Information.

Super Saturday - (March) A variety of small fun workshops for
4-H members and leaders.

Competing in the Asotin County Fair - (April) 4-H members enrolled by November 1th will be able to complete in the Fair in April.

Teen Conference - (June) The 4-H Teen Conference engages youth to reach their full leadership potential. It brings together youth from across Washington for a memorable three-day leadership training, networking and learning experience. More information.

Washington State Fair (September) - 4-Hers compete at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup

Achievement Night - (September) A fun night to celebrate the achievement of 4-H members and introduce non-members to the 4-H Program.

Teen Rally's - (September or October) Teens from the Eastern District join together to spend three days of learning and fun!

State Ambassadors - Learn new leadership skills, planning events like Teen Conference and Know Your Government while traveling around Washington promoting 4-H.

Livestock Field Days - (varies) These are one-day workshops that teach about raising livestock(beef, swine, sheep, goat) for butchering .

The theme for the 2010 Asotin County Fair is "County Fair with a Western Flair". Colors are Forest Green, Burgundy and Gold. The Tiger Lily is the flower.
