Master Gardeners
What do we do?
Many WSU Master Gardeners in Asotin County teach gardening classes, others write horticultural articles, and some manage home pages on the web.
We also address important issues in our community. We educate the public about the threat that fertilizers and pesticides can pose to water quality if used improperly.
We help reduce solid waste by teaching people to compost. Our programs provide education and information to the public and include the following:
- Plant Clinics and information on gardening problems
- Staffing information booths
- Plant seminars, lectures, classes, and school programs
- Master Gardener web site
